Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of StreamSync, a live streaming control plane operated by Plusev and its related companies and affiliates, including our websites, dashboards, APIs, media ingest, playback, routing, destination, authentication, and support services.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Plusev, StreamSync, and our related companies and affiliates that provide or support the service. In these Terms, "StreamSync," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Plusev, StreamSync, and those related companies and affiliates.
By accessing or using StreamSync, creating an account, connecting a streaming service, configuring an ingest source, routing a stream, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use StreamSync.
2. Organizations and Authority
If you use StreamSync on behalf of a company, organization, client, team, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to both you and that entity.
You are responsible for ensuring that all users you invite to a workspace comply with these Terms. Activity by your employees, contractors, agents, clients, representatives, workspace members, and other authorized users may be treated as activity by you.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use StreamSync. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use StreamSync only with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
You may not use StreamSync if you are barred from receiving the service under applicable law, sanctions, export controls, platform rules, or these Terms.
4. Accounts and Security
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, sessions, ingest credentials, stream keys, connected accounts, destination credentials, API access, workspace permissions, and any public or private links you create.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and workspaces, whether authorized by you or not, except to the extent caused solely by StreamSync breach of these Terms. You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, or other security issues.
5. The Service
StreamSync provides tools for live streaming workflows, including media ingest, source authorization, program routing, WebRTC preview or playback, destination configuration, OAuth account linking, stream forwarding, metrics, and related dashboard or API features.
We may add, change, suspend, remove, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We may impose technical limits, rate limits, connection limits, storage limits, usage limits, security controls, or other restrictions to protect StreamSync, connected services, users, or infrastructure.
Your purchase or use of StreamSync is not contingent on delivery of future features, public roadmap items, previews, or comments about future functionality unless expressly stated in a signed written agreement.
6. License to Use StreamSync
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use StreamSync for your internal, personal, business, or client streaming workflows as permitted by your plan, order, or written agreement.
Except for this limited license, we reserve all rights in StreamSync, including software, source code, APIs, interfaces, designs, documentation, logos, trademarks, domain names, workflows, and related technology.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of your live streams, media feeds, files, names, labels, chat content, messages, destination data, configuration, and other materials you submit, transmit, route, display, or process through StreamSync.
You grant StreamSync a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, route, relay, process, transform, display, reproduce, and otherwise use your content and configuration only as necessary to provide, secure, support, debug, and improve StreamSync, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, consents, permissions, releases, and authority necessary to stream, route, publish, display, distribute, process, and store your content and to provide credentials, stream keys, OAuth permissions, and destination information to StreamSync.
8. Live Media, Recording, and Data Loss
StreamSync is designed primarily as a live streaming control plane. Unless a feature expressly says otherwise, StreamSync does not promise to record, archive, back up, or preserve your live stream content.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies, recordings, failover plans, stream backups, access credentials, and operational procedures. Deleted content, expired links, closed accounts, revoked credentials, failed streams, and disabled destinations may be irretrievable.
9. Credentials and Connected Services
StreamSync may store or process ingest secrets, stream keys, destination URLs, OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, channel identifiers, and similar credentials to authenticate streams and route them to destinations you choose. You authorize us to use these credentials to provide the service, including validating accounts, refreshing tokens, forwarding streams, revoking tokens, rotating credentials, or disconnecting services when requested or required.
Third-party platforms, including Google, Twitch, YouTube, X, custom RTMP destinations, and other streaming or identity services, are not controlled by StreamSync. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, policies, fees, limits, availability, API rules, and enforcement decisions.
We are not responsible for third-party outages, takedowns, API changes, quota limits, account restrictions, token revocations, destination failures, content moderation decisions, copyright claims, or platform enforcement actions.
10. Platform Rules
You must comply with all terms, developer policies, API policies, content policies, community guidelines, privacy policies, and other rules of any connected platform you use with StreamSync.
If a platform requires us to disable an integration, revoke tokens, delete data, change functionality, or impose additional terms, we may do so without liability to you.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. By using StreamSync, you agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for complying with privacy, data protection, recording, consent, publicity, biometric, wiretap, employment, education, health, and similar laws that apply to your content, streams, viewers, guests, employees, contractors, clients, and end users.
Unless we enter into a separate written agreement, StreamSync is not intended for processing protected health information under HIPAA, education records under FERPA, children-directed services under COPPA, payment card data subject to PCI storage requirements, or other specially regulated data.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not use StreamSync, or allow others to use StreamSync, in a way that harms the service, other users, third parties, connected platforms, or the public.
- Do not stream, route, upload, link to, display, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, exploitative, sexually exploitative, or otherwise violates the rights of others.
- Do not use StreamSync to distribute malware, conduct phishing, send spam, coordinate abuse, evade platform rules, manipulate metrics, impersonate others, or perform unlawful surveillance.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, billing controls, rate limits, usage limits, security controls, account restrictions, sanctions controls, or access restrictions.
- Do not probe, scan, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, create derivative works from, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to StreamSync, our infrastructure, or connected services.
- Do not use StreamSync to build a competing product or service, benchmark the service for competitive purposes, or access the service in a way that harms StreamSync or its commercial interests.
- Do not share ingest credentials, stream keys, OAuth tokens, API access, or connected account access in a way that creates unauthorized use, security risk, or violation of law or platform terms.
- Do not use StreamSync in violation of export controls, sanctions, broadcasting laws, telecommunications laws, intellectual property laws, privacy laws, consumer protection laws, anti-spam laws, or other applicable laws and regulations.
13. Copyright and DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and expect StreamSync users to do the same. We may remove or disable access to content, streams, destinations, links, or accounts that we believe infringe rights or violate these Terms.
If you believe content processed through StreamSync infringes your copyright, send a notice to our copyright contact with: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
Copyright notices and counter-notices can be sent to the contact email listed below. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
14. Fees, Billing, and Taxes
Some StreamSync features may be free, trial-based, beta, invite-only, usage-limited, or paid. If paid features are offered, pricing, billing periods, usage limits, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation terms will be presented in the product, checkout flow, order form, pricing page, invoice, or separate written agreement.
You authorize StreamSync and its payment processors to charge fees, taxes, usage charges, and other amounts due using the payment method you provide. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, levies, and governmental charges.
Unless required by law or expressly stated in writing, fees are non-refundable. We may suspend, downgrade, or terminate paid features for failed payment, chargebacks, suspected fraud, abuse, excessive usage, or violation of these Terms.
15. Trials, Credits, and Promotions
We may offer trials, credits, discounts, referral credits, promotional codes, or beta access. These offers may be subject to additional terms, limits, expiration dates, eligibility requirements, and anti-abuse restrictions.
We may modify, revoke, or terminate promotions, credits, or trials if we believe they are being abused, obtained through fraud, used to avoid fees, or used in violation of these Terms.
16. Cancellations and Plan Changes
You may cancel paid features through the available account, billing, or support process. Unless stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the period.
Downgrades, cancellations, or non-payment may reduce capacity, disable destinations, remove access to features, or cause data, configuration, or content to become unavailable. You are responsible for exporting or preserving anything you need before cancellation or termination.
17. EU Consumer Withdrawal Right
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or another jurisdiction with a mandatory withdrawal right, you may have the right to withdraw from certain purchases within a statutory period. However, where permitted by law, by purchasing and using digital services or digital content immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be lost once performance has begun or been fully provided.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
18. Beta and Experimental Features
We may offer alpha, beta, preview, experimental, early-access, or evaluation features. These features may be incomplete, unstable, insecure, unavailable, or changed without notice. You use beta features at your own risk.
We may collect feedback about beta features and use that feedback without restriction. We may discontinue beta features at any time, and beta features may never become generally available.
19. Availability, Maintenance, and Security
StreamSync may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, failures, provider outages, network issues, denial-of-service attacks, security incidents, legal requirements, capacity limits, third-party platform issues, or other causes.
We may suspend access to all or part of StreamSync to perform maintenance, protect security, respond to incidents, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect users and infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime, service suspensions, data loss, destination failure, stream interruption, or inability to access the service except where liability cannot be limited by law.
20. Third-Party Materials and Open Source
StreamSync may include or link to third-party websites, APIs, software, open-source components, content, libraries, documentation, or services. We are not responsible for third-party materials and do not endorse them unless expressly stated.
Third-party software may be subject to separate licenses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable open-source licenses.
21. Intellectual Property
StreamSync and its software, interfaces, designs, logos, documentation, APIs, workflows, names, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, domain names, and related technology are owned by StreamSync, Plusev, our related companies, or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not use StreamSync names, marks, logos, branding, or confusingly similar marks without our prior written permission except as allowed by law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
22. Feedback
If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other comments about StreamSync, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, disclose, reproduce, license, distribute, and exploit that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
23. Confidentiality
You may receive non-public information about StreamSync, including beta features, roadmaps, security details, pricing, technical information, or business information. If information is marked confidential or should reasonably be understood as confidential, you agree not to disclose it except as authorized by us or required by law.
Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is public without breach, already known without restriction, independently developed without use of confidential information, or lawfully received from a third party without confidentiality obligations.
24. Export Controls and Sanctions
You must comply with applicable export control, sanctions, import, and trade compliance laws. You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not listed on any denied-party, restricted-party, or sanctions list.
You may not use StreamSync to export, re-export, transfer, or make available software, technology, content, or services in violation of applicable laws or sanctions.
25. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using StreamSync at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to StreamSync, remove or disable content, disable destinations, revoke credentials, restrict features, or close accounts if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay amounts owed, caused harm, or used the service in a way that could harm StreamSync, users, connected platforms, or third parties.
We may also suspend or terminate free, trial, beta, or inactive accounts at our discretion. Where practical and appropriate, we may provide notice, but we are not required to provide notice before taking action to protect security, comply with law, prevent abuse, or avoid harm.
26. Effect of Termination
After termination, your right to use StreamSync ends immediately. You remain responsible for fees and obligations incurred before termination. We may delete, retain, or disable access to your account, content, credentials, and configuration according to our Privacy Policy, legal obligations, backup practices, and internal retention rules.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute terms, and miscellaneous provisions.
27. Disclaimers
STREAMSYNC IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, ACCURACY, SECURITY, COMPATIBILITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT STREAMSYNC, CONNECTED PLATFORMS, MEDIA INFRASTRUCTURE, DESTINATIONS, PLAYBACK, METRICS, AUTHENTICATION, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE SECURE, BE AVAILABLE, PRESERVE DATA, ROUTE EVERY STREAM, MAINTAIN STREAM QUALITY, OR BE ACCEPTED BY ANY DESTINATION.
You are responsible for your equipment, network, encoders, software, credentials, permissions, backups, recordings, failover plans, platform compliance, and content rights.
28. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STREAMSYNC, PLUSEV, OUR RELATED COMPANIES, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, LICENSORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, ENHANCED, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST GOODWILL, LOST DATA, LOST CONTENT, STREAM INTERRUPTION, DESTINATION FAILURE, AUDIENCE LOSS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO STREAMSYNC WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STREAMSYNC FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
These limits apply regardless of the legal theory, whether contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or otherwise, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.
29. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StreamSync, Plusev, our related companies, affiliates, service providers, licensors, employees, contractors, officers, directors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys fees, arising from or related to your content, streams, destinations, connected accounts, credentials, users, clients, viewers, use of StreamSync, violation of these Terms, violation of law, violation of platform rules, or infringement or misappropriation of third-party rights.
We may control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense. You may not settle any claim in a way that imposes liability or obligations on us without our prior written consent.
30. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable consumer protection, data protection, or other mandatory laws.
31. Governing Law
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms and disputes relating to StreamSync will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Plusev is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
32. Dispute Resolution and Class Waiver
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the jurisdiction where Plusev is organized unless a separate written agreement, mandatory law, or applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, representative, private attorney general, or similar proceeding. Unless required by law, no dispute may be combined with another person or entity claim without our consent.
This section does not prevent either party from bringing an individual action in small claims court where permitted or from seeking injunctive or equitable relief for unauthorized use, security abuse, or intellectual property misuse.
33. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and post the revised Terms on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the service, by email, or by other appropriate means.
Your continued use of StreamSync after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using StreamSync.
34. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, any product-specific terms, order forms, and written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and StreamSync regarding the service. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement, the signed written agreement controls for the conflicting subject matter.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to best accomplish its intended purpose to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
